About Ilangu

Vision :

Our goal is to create a future where students reside in an environment free from drugs and embrace responsibility for their lives, encompassing all moral aspects. We aim for every child to uphold moral values within their community and globally, fostering growth in those around them. The core of our vision is the "I-NGO" concept, emphasizing internal change over external, with students taking ownership and supporting one another. Students should receive not only academic education but also moral education, learning principles like justice, responsibility, respect, ethics, and social equality. Our aspiration is to guide students out of dark phases, helping them realize their potential and uplifting them to a position where they can positively impact others who may be going through similar struggles. We believe that by instilling strong moral values in students, we can create a ripple effect that will lead to a more compassionate and understanding society as a whole. Through our programs and initiatives, we strive to empower students to make positive choices and become leaders who inspire others to do the same. Additionally, Ilangu advocates for drug prevention policies within schools and society as a whole, working closely with school administrations, government agencies, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective programs. They also engage with parents, teachers, community leaders, and other stakeholders to raise awareness about drug prevention in schools and gather support for related initiatives, which may involve organizing community events, distributing educational materials, and facilitating discussions on drug-related issues. Ilangu also conducts workshops and training sessions for teachers, equipping them with the necessary skills and resources to effectively teach moral values in the classroom.
